| Executive Oath of Office: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” |
| —United States Constitution, Article II, Section 1, Clause 8 |
Each student will choose a pair of inaugural addresses. They will deeply read each speech and then rhetorically analyze each speech. They will then write a multi-paragraph rhetorical analysis of both speeches making an argument as to which speech is the strongest speech in their own determination based on their rhetorical analysis.
